Water Scarcity

Climate changes in several parts of developing countries in Asia have led to water scarcity among vulnerable communities, affecting particularly women and children and old people in countries such as Sri Lanka and Cambodia. Thousands of villages in rural and remote places are forced to live with dirty and unsafe water resources leading to the spread of water-borne diseases.

Hygiene & Sanitation

The Covid 19 pandemic has made it even more crucial in the promotion of hygiene and sanitation. Access to clean water means our community in these areas will always have water for drinking, cleaning, cooking and ablution.

Providing Ease

In Islam, providing ease to our fellow Muslims is an amazing opportunity to draw closer to Allah SWT. From relieving a man’s thirst for water to building a water pump in a rural village, anyone who wakaf towards providing for that cause for the sake of Allah will surely find their reward with Him.
